Patna HC To Buy iPhone 13 Pro (256 GB) for All Its Judges- Know More

On Tuesday, the Patna High Court issued a tender notice inviting bids for the supply of Apple iPhone 13 Pro (256 GB) to all High Court judges.

The officer-on-special-duty issued the notice on behalf of the court’s purchase cell.

“Sealed quotations are invited from reputed firms/authorized dealers/suppliers/service providers for supply of Apple iPhone 13 Pro (256 GB) for the Hon’ble Judges of this Court,” according to the notice.

The bid documents must be submitted within a week, according to the notice.

The notice also stipulated the following terms:

  • The tender price should include Goods and Services Tax (GST) and service charges.
  • The GST number, PAN, AADHAR, email address, and registered mobile phone number should all be clearly stated in the quotation. The firm’s/headquarters/office shop’s must be in Patna.
  • No advance payment will be made, and payment will be made via bank (CFMS mode) rather than cash, following the submission of the bill in duplicate.
  • The Court has the discretion to accept or reject any or all quotations.
  • Firms/service providers must be prepared to perform maintenance on the aforementioned equipment as needed.
  • Defective materials should be replaced immediately and at no cost by the responsible companies during the warranty period.
  • A statement about any previous supplies made to the government or institutions.

The High Court has a total sanctioned strength of 53 judges, with 27 working as of June 1 this year. However, with the Central Government recently announcing the appointment of nine additional members to the Bench, the working strength will soon rise to 36.

On Saturday, seven of the nine new appointees took the oath of office.
