On Thursday, a Special Mumbai Court extended the ED custody of Sanjay Raut in the Patra Chawl Scam case till August 8. Special Judge MG Deshpande remarked that the agency had made remarkable progress in the case. However, the court rejected the intervention application filed by witness Swapna Patakar stating she was threatened by Raut.
