Former Supreme Court Justice C T Ravikumar Honored by All India Senior Advocate Association

On Wednesday, the All India Senior Advocate Association (AISAA) held a special ceremony to felicitate former Supreme Court judge, Justice C T Ravikumar, recognizing his significant contributions to the judiciary and his steadfast commitment to justice. The event, marked by heartfelt tributes and reflections, took place in the presence of distinguished legal professionals and members of AISAA.

Justice Ravikumar, who stepped down from his role at the Supreme Court on January 5, was praised for his exemplary service and the integrity he brought to his duties during his tenure. Adish C Aggarwala, Senior Advocate and Secretary General of AISAA, remarked, “Justice Ravikumar’s career is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the law and his moral fiber. His work has left an indelible mark on the legal landscape, inspiring both contemporaries and future generations.”

The ceremony saw AISAA President and Rajya Sabha MP P Wilson, along with Secretary General Aggarwala, presenting a commemorative plaque to Justice Ravikumar. Colleagues and former peers also shared memories of appearing before him, highlighting his fair and thoughtful approach in the courtroom.

Justice Ravikumar’s legal career began after graduating with a degree in zoology from Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara, followed by an LLB from Government Law College, Calicut. He was admitted to the Bar Council of Kerala in 1986 and started his practice in Mavelikara, later moving to the Kerala High Court. His judicial journey saw him appointed as an additional judge of the Kerala High Court in 2009, achieving permanent judge status the following year.
