On March 3, a Delhi court is set to continue the hearing in the high-profile sexual harassment case against former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The proceedings will include the recording of the statement from one of the female wrestlers who has leveled these accusations against Singh.
The case, initially scheduled for this Saturday, has been postponed due to the unavailability of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Vaibhav Chaurasiya, who was on leave.
Last May, the court formally charged Singh with sexual harassment and using force to outrage the modesty of women. In response, Singh has denied all charges and has opted to claim trial, asserting his innocence.

Furthermore, the court has extended the charges to include criminal intimidation, not only against Singh, who is also a noted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader but against co-accused Vinod Tomar, the former assistant secretary of the WFI.
