Writ Court Can Grant Tax Payment Installments Beyond Those Provided by Statute: Kerala High Court

In a significant ruling, the Kerala High Court has allowed M/S Krishna Holiday Village, a bar-attached hotel in Thrissur, to pay its outstanding tax arrears in 10 monthly installments, extending beyond the statutory limit of six installments. The decision was delivered by Justice Murali Purushothaman on May 28, 2024, in the case WP(C) No. 18574
