Uncomfortable Questions in Court Proceedings Can’t be Considered as Humiliation: Supreme Court

In a significant ruling, the Supreme Court of India has held that uncomfortable questions posed during court proceedings cannot be misconstrued as humiliation. The judgment was delivered in the case of Smt. Dhanlaxmi Urf Sunita Mathuria & Anr. v. State of Rajasthan & Ors., where the petitioners alleged that they were humiliated in open court.
