The Supreme Court on Thursday imposed Rs 50,000 cost on State of UP for challenging a Judgment of Allahabad High Court allowing gratuity amount to wife of deceased employee. The Court noted: We deprecate the practice of a State filing such cases before the Apex Court. Hence the appeal is dismissed with cost of Rs.
