Supreme Court Grants Interim Bail to 13 Prisoners, Declared Juvenile, But Remained in Jail For More Than 14 Years

On Thursday, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to thirteen convicted prisoners, citing the fact that they were declared juveniles by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) at the time of the offence. These inmates had already served 14 years in jail, and are currently lodged in Agra Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh on personal bond.
