Six Months Rigorous Punishment for Alcohol Consumption is Too Harsh: Court

A Gandhinagar court has ruled that six months of rigorous imprisonment is too strict a punishment for consuming liquor and reduced the jail term of the man to ten and 15 days as he was caught two times. In this case, the accused Amit Mehta was booked by police u/s 66(1)b  and 85(1)(3) of Gujarat
