Pujari Has No Ownership Rights Over Temple Property, Merely a Manager: Chhattisgarh High Court

The Chhattisgarh High Court has ruled that a Pujari (temple priest) cannot be considered a Bhumiswami (landowner) of temple land and holds no proprietary rights, reiterating that the priest is merely a manager appointed to perform rituals on behalf of the deity.
