A Supreme Court bench comprising Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Justice A.S. Bopanna sat till 6.40 pm today, which is way past the regular court sitting hours. The Supreme Court’s regular court hours are 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The bench was hearing certain hearing matters today, which extended beyond the regular hours.
