Demolition Drive Undertaken in the State was As Per Law, Submits UP Govt in Supreme Court

Recently before the Supreme Court, the UP government defended the recent demolition drive undertaken in Prayagraj by the State government. The UP government made the submissions in a plea filed by Jamiat Ulama i Hind challenging the demolition drive by the State after the protests that erupted after Nupur Sharma’s alleged remarks on Prophet Mohammad.
