The Delhi High Court recently quashed an FIR lodged against an American citizen who was caught with live ammunition at the IGI Airport, New Delhi without any valid license. The Bench of Justice Jasmeet Singh granted relief after noting that conscious possession is a core ingredient for establishing guilt under the Arms Act of 1959.
