Bombay HC Designates 28 Advocates as Senior Advocate

The High Court of Judicature at Bombay has announced the designation of 28 advocates as Senior Advocates under Section 16(2) of the Advocates Act, 1961. This prestigious designation, effective from July 18, 2024, recognizes the distinguished service and expertise of these legal professionals.

The notification, issued by the Registrar General R. N. Joshi on August 2, 2024, has been circulated to various legal bodies and officials, including the Solicitor General of India, the Advocate Generals of Maharashtra and Goa, the Secretary General of the Supreme Court of India, and various Bar Associations across the region.
