An Indian citizen can’t be declared a foreigner if he cannot prove linkage to some relatives mentioned in the voter list

In a recent case, the Gauhati High Court observed that the non-explanation of linkage of a person with other names mentioned along with his grandparents’ name in the 1970 voter list would not affect the genuineness or credibility to show linkage with the grandparents. Guwahati High Court set aside the Tribunal’s order and observed that
