No Regular Sitting of Courts in Allahabad HC Till 9th April Due to Surge of COVID Cases

Considering the rapid surge of COVID19 cases in Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court has decided to close High Court at Allahabad and Lucknow both till 09th April 2021.

The letter of the Registrar General of the High Court states that:

In consideration of recent spike in the number of cases of COVID 19 at Prayagraj and Lucknow, the Administrative Committee of the High Court has resolved for no sitting of regular courts from 05 April 2021 to 09 April 2021. During this period only special benches will be constituted for urgent cases

The High Court has also issued new guidelines/modalities for functioning from 05 April to 09th April 2021.
