YouTuber Elvish Yadav Sent to 14-Day Judicial Custody, Faces Up to 10 Years in Jail Under Stringent Act

In a shocking turn of events, popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav was arrested by Noida Police on Sunday in a high-profile case related to snake venom trafficking. Following an intense interrogation session, Yadav was presented before the Surajpur court, which remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody. Prior to his court appearance, a medical examination was conducted at the district hospital. Amidst these developments, a video of Yadav, seemingly in good spirits with the police, has gone viral on social media.

The case, which came to light last year, saw the Noida Police registering a case against Yadav and six others. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of five individuals identified as Rahul, Teetunath, Jay Karan, Narayan, and Ravnath. These arrests were made following a probe initiated by BJP leader Maneka Gandhi’s animal welfare organization, People for Animals. One of the accused, Rahul, later revealed Yadav’s alleged involvement in the illegal activities. Although Yadav had been summoned for questioning multiple times in the past, his arrest was not made until now.
