The Patiala district court upheld the two-year prison sentence of Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi, who was sentenced in 2018 for human trafficking. Shri HS Grewal, an additional district and session judge, dismissed the singer’s appeal against conviction and upheld the lower court’s decision that found Mehndi guilty under Sections 420 (cheating) and 120B (conspiracy)
