Supreme Court Restrains MLA From Voting Rights & Monetary Benefits

In a recent case related to election litigation, Hon’ble Supreme Court has stopped an MLA from Manipur from drawing allowances and salary from the Assembly and has barred him from voting. However, the Court allowed him to participate in debates. The MLA (O Henry Singh) was elected to the Assembly on Congress ticket in 2017.
