Supreme Court Refuses To Entertain PIL Seeking To Declare Fundamental Rights As Unconstitutional

On Friday, the Supremem Court Bench of Justices KM Joseph and Hrishikesh Roy rejected a plea seeking directions to declare fundamental rights ultra vires and void ab initio.  As per the petitioner, Part III of the Indian Constitution is contradictory to the true spirit of the Preamble and is also against the law of nature.
