Supreme Court Collegium Recommends 13 Elevations for Calcutta, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh HC

The Supreme Court collegium met on 4th Feb 2021 and recommended names for elevation as High Court Judge of Calcutta, Karnataka, Chhatisgarh and Allahabad HC.

Karnataka HC

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 4th February, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of the following persons as Judges of the Karnataka High Court:

ADVOCATE:

1. Shri Aditya Sondhi,

JUDICIAL OFFICERS:

2. Shri Rajendra Badamikar, and

3. Ms. Khazi Jayabunnisa Mohiuddin.

Calcutta High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 4th February, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of the following Judicial Officers as Judges of the Calcutta High Court:

1. Ms. Kesang Doma Bhutia,

2. Shri Rabindranath Samanta,

3. Shri Sugato Majumdar,

4. Ms. Ananya Bandyopadhyay,

5. Smt. Rai Chattopadhyay,

6. Shri Bivas Pattanayak,

7. Shri Subhendu Samanta, and

8. Shri Ananda Kumar Mukherjee.

Chhattisgarh High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 4th February, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of the following persons as Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court:

ADVOCATE:

1. Shri Narendra Kumar Vyas, and

JUDICIAL OFFICER:

2. Shri Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi.
