Sec 482 CrPC | High Court is Not Supposed to Hold a Mini Trial, Rules Supreme Court

In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court of India has ruled that High Courts should not conduct mini-trials while exercising their inherent powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). The decision was delivered by a bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Prasanna B. Varale in the case of Dharambeer Kumar
