SC Rules That Subsequent Purchaser Doesn’t Have Any Locus To Challenge Land Acquisition Proceedings

The Supreme Court has ruled that in land acquisition cases, the subsequent purchaser has no locus to locus to challenge the proceedings or the lapse of acquisition under the Right to fair Compensation & Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act of 2013. The court also referred to Delhi Development Authority versus Godfrey Phillips
