Justice Harish Tandon Appointed as Chief Justice of Orissa High Court

In a significant judicial appointment, the President of India has appointed Shri Justice Harish Tandon, currently serving as a Judge of the Calcutta High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court.

The appointment has been made in exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, following due consultation with the Chief Justice of India.
