Jharkhand-based Lawyer Arrested on Charge of Blackmailing With PILs

According to officials, the Kolkata Police arrested a Jharkhand-based lawyer on suspicion of blackmailing a city-based businessman for ten crore to withdraw a PIL. Rajiv Kumar, the accused, is a Jharkhand High Court practising lawyer with a reputation for filing PILs. He is currently representing Shiv Shankar Sharma in two PILs filed against Jharkhand Chief
