High Court Cannot Direct That Investigation Should Be Carried Out In A Particular Manner, Rules SC

The Supreme Court has ruled that High Courts don’t have power even under Articles 226 of Constitution or Section 482 CrPC to direct investigation has to be conducted in a particular manner. The observation was made by Justices BR Gavai and Justice Vikram Nath while considering an appeal filed against a Calcutta High Court Division
