Fair Price Shop License is a Privilege Not Fundamental Right under Article 19(1)(g), Rules Allahabad HC

The Allahabad High Court has clarified that a license to run a fair price shop is a privilege conferred by the State on a person and these kinds of licenses don’t fall within the category fundamental right to carry on their business as provided under Article 19 (1)g of the Indian Constitution.
