Decision on Irfan Solanki Deferred, MLA Not Presented in Court After Being Brought to Kanpur

In a repeated turn of events, the MP/MLA Sessions Court has, for the fifth time, postponed the decision concerning Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki in relation to a fire incident in a makeshift dwelling on a plot owned by Nazir Fatima in Jajmau. Despite being summoned from the Maharajganj jail, Solanki was not presented before the court and was instead kept at the police lines upon his arrival in Kanpur.

The decision was anticipated against five individuals, including the MLA, his brother, and three others among the 12 accused in the case. The final hearing for both parties’ lawyers is scheduled for April 6, after which the court is expected to deliver its verdict.
