Court Fines Police For Arresting Wrong Person under POCSO Act

The District Second Additional FTSC POCSO Court, Mangaluru, Karnataka ordered the Inspector of Police Revathi and Sub-Inspector of Police Rosamma PP to pay the fine amount of Rs 5 Lakh from their salaries for arresting the wrong person with the same name as the accused and keeping him in judicial custody for nearly a year
