Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha of the Chhattisgarh High Court unveiled the latest edition of the Indian Law Reports in a ceremony held at the court’s auditorium in Bilaspur on Monday. The release included both Hindi and English versions, meticulously prepared by the Committee for Indian Law Reports Chhattisgarh Series in collaboration with the All India Reporter Nagpur.
Chief Justice Sinha emphasized the significance of the bilingual publication, highlighting its potential to serve as a crucial resource for the state’s legal fraternity and aid in the efficient delivery of justice. The reports are expected to enhance the accessibility of legal precedents and insights, thereby contributing to the legal knowledge base within Chhattisgarh.
The event also saw participation from esteemed members of the judiciary, including High Court Justices Goutam Bhaduri and Sanjay K Agrawal, who shared their insights during the program. The gathering was further graced by the presence of Advocate General Prafull Kumar Bharat, Deputy Solicitor General Ramakant Mishra, Aditya Vaidya from All India Reporter Nagpur, alongside senior advocates, judicial officials, and other dignitaries.
