The Ministry of Law and Justice has announced significant appointments to the High Courts of Rajasthan and Bombay. These appointments, detailed in official notifications, reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening the judiciary and expediting the legal processes.
Rajasthan High Court
In accordance with Article 217 of the Indian Constitution, the President of India has appointed the following individuals as judges of the Rajasthan High Court:
1. Chandra Shekhar Sharma
2. Pramil Kumar Mathur
3. Chandra Prakash Shrimali
The appointments are effective from the date the individuals assume their respective offices, as per the notification issued by the Appointments Division of the Ministry. The notification underscores the importance of maintaining judicial efficiency and integrity in the region.
Bombay High Court
Further, under Article 224 of the Indian Constitution, Pravin Sheshrao Patil has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a period of two years. The appointment will take effect upon his assumption of office. This move is expected to bolster the court’s capacity in handling the increasing caseload.
