The Bar Association of Mathura has issued a show-cause notice to five lawyers for working in Courts that were boycotted by them.

President of the Mathura Bar Association has stated that all five erring lawyers were asked to submit their explanation within five days.

A meeting of the advisory and working committee has been called on 9th November to discuss the future course of action.

On 5th November, after a one-day strike, the Bar association had decided to boycott the ACJM and CJM of the Courts.

The decision to boycott the Courts were due to alleged delay in delivery of justice and because the members of the Mathura Bar were harassed by the Courts mentioned above.

An official who is familiar with the case has stated that notices have been served to Senior Advocate Arjun Singh, Joint Secretary of Mathura Bar Association L.K Gautam, Badan Singh, Laik Singh and Arjun Singh for working in Courts that were boycotted by the association.
