Allahabad HC Closes Suo Motu PIL for Extention of Interim Order and Limitation

On Tuesday, the Allahabad High Court observed that courts are physically working in the state of Uttar Pradesh, therefore there is no need for further extension of the limitation period and interim orders.

The Allahabad High Court had suo motu taken cognizance of the extention of interim order and limitation period for filing of cases amidst COVID 19 situation in the country.

From 04th January 2021 the regular physical hearing of cases has also started at Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court.

A Bench of Hon’ble Justice M N Bhandari and Hon’ble Justice R R Agarwal has closed and disposed off the suo motu case.
