New Jharkhand High Court Campus to Be Ready Next Month: Govt

 The Jharkhand government on Friday said that the new high court campus at Jagannathpur will be ready next month and will be handed over to the authorities by April 30.

The government assured the High Court of Jharkhand that all work will be completed within the deadline.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra and Justice Ananda Sen were hearing a public interest litigation filed by the Advocates Association, Jharkhand High Court, seeking various facilities for lawyers in the new campus.

The bench in an oral observation said that the new campus will have more facilities and space for advocates than what the existing court compound has.
