Justice Pritinker Diwaker Sworn in as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Sunday administered the oath of office of Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court to Justice Pritinkar Diwakar.

In a notification issued on March 24, the President appointed Justice Pritinkar Diwakar as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.

During this, all the Judges of the Allahabad High Court were present in the courtroom of the Chief Justice.

Till now Justice Diwakar was working as the Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court. Born on November 22, 1961, Justice Diwakar graduated from Durgapur University, Jabalpur. He enrolled as an advocate in 1984 and practiced in constitutional, civil and criminal cases.

Justice Diwakar was a member of the Madhya Pradesh State Bar Council for seven years and a member of the Chhattisgarh Bar Council for five years. In March 2009, he was appointed a judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court. He was later transferred to the Allahabad High Court on October 3, 2018, and on February 13, 2023, he was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.
