Withdraw Recovery Notices Issued to Anti-CAA Protesters or We Quash it, SC Warns UP Govt

The Supreme Court on Friday directed the Uttar Pradesh government to withdraw the proceedings against alleged anti-CAA protesters and warned that the recovery notices would be quashed if they were issued in violation of the law. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued orders to recover alleged public property damage from people who protested the Citizenship
