Threat to Bomb Allahabad High Court: Litigant in Shri Krishna Birthplace Case Receives Call from Pakistani Number

The Allahabad High Court was threatened with a bombing, linked to a legal dispute involving the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi site. Ashutosh Pandey, the petitioner in the case and president of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust, received 22 audio recordings via WhatsApp from numbers reportedly originating from Pakistan. These messages threatened to first destroy the court, then target Pandey.

Pandey, a resident of Kandhla in Shamli, disclosed that these threats were received around 9:36 PM on Wednesday, from the number +92 302 9854231. The recorded messages explicitly threatened to bomb the court on November 19, 2024, and Pandey the following day. The local police have been informed, and the recordings have been submitted for investigation.

This incident is the latest in a series of threats received by Pandey, who has been actively involved in several legal cases related to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi site in Mathura. He has also been involved in prior legal actions regarding unauthorized electrical connections at the Shahi Eidgah, which has been a point of contention in the ongoing property dispute.
