Supreme Court Suggests Exclusion of Those From Reservation Who Have Already Availed Benefits

In a significant observation, the Supreme Court of India, on Tuesday, underscored the need to reconsider the beneficiaries within the reserved categories of backward classes. The apex court proposed that those who have already availed the benefits of reservation and have thereby elevated their social and economic status should be removed from the reserved categories
