Section 188 CrPC Not Applicable If Part of Crime Committed in India, Rules Supreme Court

The Supreme Court ruled that Section 188 of the Criminal Procedure Code does not apply if a portion of the crime was committed in India.  The Section is invoked when the entirety of the offence is committed outside India, and the grant of sanction would allow such offence to be investigated or tried in India,
