SC States That From Now On, After Notice Miscellaneous Matters Will Not Be Listed On Wednesdays and Thursdays

The Supreme Court recently stated that on Wednesdays and Thursdays regular hearing cases would be taken up apart from ten transfer and bail petitions.

The court clarified that from now on the practice of listing after notice miscellaneous cases on Thursday and Wednesday will be stopped and such matters will only be taken up on miscellaneous days if slots are available.

It should be noted that on miscellaneous days, admission hearings are done wherein counsels try to convince the Top Court to admit their matters.

However, other days are reserved for final hearings of matters but sometimes miscellaneous matters are also listed on Non Miscellaneous Days.
