In a shocking revelation that has left customers bewildered, three postal workers have been accused of a fraudulent scheme involving the non-deposition of funds into customer accounts at the Bachhgaon village post office in Mathura. This case, which dates back three years, has finally seen legal action initiated against the accused postal employees, following a court’s directive.
The case was registered at the Magorra police station against the three postal workers, following a complaint lodged by a resident of Bachhgaon, Madhav Singh. Singh’s complaint detailed how one of the accused, a postal employee named Ravi Kumar, failed to deposit the savings of approximately 60 account holders into the government account, leading to embezzlement of the funds.
Despite a complaint filed on December 7, 2021, the departmental authorities reportedly took no action against Ravi Kumar. Further allegations suggest that there was pressure to retract the complaint, and threats were made against those who pursued the matter.
