Pleadings in PIL Must Conform to General Rules of Pleadings: Supreme Court

On Monday, the Supreme Court clarified that while filing PILs, litigants have to comply with rules of pleadings, and the entire fact-finding burden can’t be left on courts. A Bench of Hon’ble Justice DY Chandrachud and Hon’ble Justice MR Shah made this observation while hearing a PIL that sought quashing of FIRs registered against people
