Order VIII Rule 1A(3) CPC | Denying Filing of Additional Documents Even If There is Delay Will be Denial of Justice, Rules Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has observed that denying a party in a civil matter permission to produce additional documents, even if there is considerable delay, results in denial of justice. In such situations, the trial Court can impose costs rather than refuse to produce the records, observed the bench of Justices Hemant Gupta and V. Ramasubramanian.
