The Bar Council of India (BCI) has decided to extend the registration deadline for the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) XVI till August 14, 2021. Payment for the same could be made as soon as August 20, 2021.
A notification was posted on the AIBE’s website on Thursday stating that the day for registration for AIBE-16 is extended until 14th August 2021, and the payment period is extended until 20th August 2021, the rescheduled date for AIBE 16 will be intimated soon.”
Significantly, the Bar Council of India agreed to rearrange the date of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE)-XVI in March 2021, and it was announced that the alternative date will be announced soon, but this is yet to be done.
It should be remembered that the AIBE-XVI was originally scheduled for April 25.
Notably, the Bar Council of India recently announced that beginning with All India Bar Examination-XVI (AIBE-XVI), no books, notes, or study material will be permitted in the Examination Hall. Candidates, on the other hand, would be permitted to carry Bare Acts without notes.
“This is to notify that, beginning with All India Bar Examination-XVI (AIBE-XVI), no books, notes, or study material will be permitted in the Examination Hall.” Candidates can perform bare acts without using notes.
