The Allahabad HC on Friday stated that the imposition of regulatory fees is a reasonable restriction imposed in the public interest. The bench of Justices Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Prashant Kumar was dealing with the petition challenging the 48th Amendment in Uttar Pradesh Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules, 1963, Rule 21 (4) and Rule 70 (2)
