Marriage Between Victim and Accused or the Birth of a Child Can’t Mitigate the Act of Rape: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court has observed that just because an act of sexual abuse results in marriage between the victim and the accused or in the birth of the child, it doesn’t mitigate the offence of rape and the minor victim’s consent is inconsequential in law.
