On Monday, the Apex Court Bench of Justices Hemant Gupta and Sudhanshu Dhulia continued hearing the pleas challenging the Karnataka High Court judgement affirming the ban on the wearing of Hijab by students in colleges/ educational institutions. Senior Counsel Dushyant Dave appearing for the petitioners made submissions regarding the cultural and religious diversity of India.
