In a striking incident in Maharashtra’s Navi Mumbai township, a 27-year-old woman lawyer has been arrested for allegedly extorting ₹12 lakh from a hotelier. The arrest was made by the Navi Mumbai crime unit on Wednesday at a cafe in Vashi, where the money exchange took place, an official from the Vashi police station reported.
