“CONDEMNABLE AND DIRTY!” – Supreme Court Slams Ranveer Allahabadia Over Remarks on YouTube Show- Grants Stay on Arrest With Conditions

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India came down heavily on popular YouTuber and influencer Ranveer Allahabadia, also known as Beer Biceps, over remarks he made on his YouTube show India’s Got Latent. The court denounced his statements in strong words, questioning his sense of responsibility and the impact of his speech on society.

A bench of Justices expressed deep displeasure over the content aired by Allahabadia, terming it “obscene, irresponsible, and insulting” to societal values. The court made a series of scathing observations regarding his behavior and the effect of his words on public sentiment.

-“We have to behave within the parameters of obscenity. If this is not obscenity, then what is?” remarked the court, pointing out the inappropriate nature of his statements.

-“See the language you have used. Have you got the license to speak these kinds of things?” the bench questioned, emphasizing the need for accountability.

-“There has to be some responsibility.” The court stressed that public figures, especially those with large followings, must exercise caution in their expressions.

-“He thinks he can do anything and take the society for granted?” The court slammed the apparent disregard for moral and ethical boundaries.

-“You think you can exhibit your depraved mind anywhere?” The justices rebuked him for what they described as an exhibition of moral corruption.

-“You are insulting parents in front of everyone. Tell us anyone in the world who will like this.” The court underscored the social ramifications of his words.

-“There is dirt in his mind. Why should a court hear this kind of person?” questioned the bench, casting doubt on why such content should be entertained legally.

-“Ranveer Allahabadia and his henchmen have exhibited a pervert mind.” The court made it clear that it viewed the issue as a matter of moral degradation.

-“Your words have put parents, daughters, sisters, and the whole society to shame.” The justices noted that his remarks had deeply offended public sensibilities.

What the Supreme Court Ordered:

Despite the harsh criticism, the court granted Allahabadia protection from arrest but imposed stringent conditions:

-Protection from Arrest – Ranveer Allahabadia will not be arrested in the case as long as he fully cooperates with the investigation.

-No Fresh FIRs – The Supreme Court ruled that no new FIRs can be registered based on the same allegations.

– Passport Confiscation – Allahabadia’s passport must be submitted to the Thane Police Station. He is not allowed to leave the country without the court’s prior permission.

– Personal Security Provision – If he faces any threats, he is allowed to seek protection from the local police in Maharashtra and Assam.

– Ban on Further Shows – Neither Ranveer nor his associates are permitted to air any new episodes or similar content until further orders from the court.
