The Apex Court has ruled that civil courts have no jurisdiction to try cases to land that is a subject matter of ceiling proceedings as per the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act of 1976. As per the Top Court, a civil court can’t declare an order passed under Urban Land Ceiling Act as illegal.
